Starting Point

Inconsistent Design, Unclear Structure, and a User Flow That Wasn't Converting

The existing store was generating traffic, but losing many visitors within the first few seconds. Both the hero section of the landing page and the product page failed to make a compelling first impression, resulting in an elevated bounce rate. On top of that, there was no clear user journey: navigation from the landing page to the product page was only possible through the menu, with no targeted CTAs guiding the way. An inconsistent UI combined with critical gaps in mobile optimization added further friction to the overall user experience.

Our Approach

Focus on orientation and user flow

Our focus was on engaging visitors faster and guiding them purposefully through the store. To achieve this, we defined clear entry-point messaging, prominent calls-to-action, and a consistent structure from the landing page through to the product page. In parallel, we unified the UI and optimized key mobile touchpoints to reduce friction at every step. Every decision was driven by a single goal: create clarity and make the next step feel intuitive for the user.

Redesigning the entry points

The first step was a fundamental rework of the hero section as the primary entry point into the store, with a clear focus on communicating value, relevance, and next steps at a glance. In addition, we tested two slightly varied versions of the hero section to further optimize details through data. These fine-tuned adjustments resulted in a further reduction of the bounce rate and an additional lift in conversion rate.

Structure and trust on the product page

In its original form, the product page was unstructured and offered little orientation for the user. In particular, the immediate area around the buy buttons lacked clear trust elements to support purchase decisions. Furthermore, no trust signals were placed above the fold, meaning key buying triggers appeared too late in the scroll. Our clear restructuring of the content and targeted placement of trust signals had a direct impact on the ATC rate, which climbed from 4.74% to 7.92% — an increase of 67%.

Measurably stronger performance across the entire customer journey

The redesigned theme delivered clear, measurable improvements at every stage of the customer journey. The conversion rate increased by +58%, while the number of add-to-carts grew by 67% and the bounce rate was reduced by 45%. These results reflect the direct impact of structural and visual optimization on user behavior within the store. Break-even was reached in under three weeks, confirming the immediate commercial impact of the relaunch.
